I just wanted to say how I love this song and how much I love the world today. No special reason. And I wanted to say hi to my cat who died a couple of days ago at 20 years old. Hi Jejo, I know you are still stealing food in cat heaven.

The recession? Does it scare you? It scares me seeing people losing jobs and homes. Here’s a song I thought very appropriate.

These two songs are favourites right now. The Last Shadow Puppets are Alex Turner from Arctic Monkeys and Miles Kane from the Rascals. I didn’t know the Rascals, but it’s never late.

Favourites as in "I listen little else". Give them a try if you haven’t heard them already. They are retro, epic, melodramatic, but his voice brings them to earth.

Thank you for all the nice messages about my son. He is okay now, except a problem with his teeth that is due to the antibiotics. We may have to do some teeth whitening unless he likes his medieval smile as it is right now. I have many things to say but for today here are some ditties for you to dance to (if you can’t see it you don’t have flash installed). Skitzo Dancer is my favourite. April requires some dancing.

One of my favourite songs of all time is Gwen McCrae’s "90% of me is you". If you don’t know the song but you like soul-funk you are going to love it. I was reminded of it because I stumbled on a beautiful weirdo in YouTube, who each day dances to a different song out on the street. He is adorable, especially when he dances to this song. Watch him:

 Yesterday I got a number of cards, t-shirts, a cd, and a beautiful Italian bookmark from different people. I wanted to thank you with this song, because you really made my day. I am going to write to each one separately, but I needed to thank you publicly too. We had dinner with one of our favourite groups, Okkervil River. They were in Athens for a show that didn’t happen, but at least we met and had a great time.
