Some photos from the weekend and the last few days.

These tiles were in the forest. Honestly.

Your Hand in Mine: An amazing greek band. Listen to them here.

Monika: She is really lovely, also Greek. Listen to her here.
The recession? Does it scare you? It scares me seeing people losing jobs and homes. Here’s a song I thought very appropriate.
Before the fiddlers have fled
Before they ask us to pay the bill
And while we still have the chance
Let’s face the music and dance

Money could lose all its value and we’d have to retreat to feudal times, exchange things for other things, grow our own vegetables, make cheese. It would be interesting, to say the least.
What a great bunch of pictures. Trees are still green over here, turning a little brown but still not golden. Happy birthday M! Hope you had a nice time!
I can’t wait to listen to those bands. When you recommend something I obey

Hi Pearl! Hugs to you too.
Devil Mood, i’d rather not make cheese please. maybe we can exchange. one of us will be making cheese, the other one will be sewing clothes (i’ll do neither, trust me it’s for the best).

Beautiful, as always Chloe. Have you ever thought of having your own show? Making prints and selling them? That first one of the picnic table is fantastic!

I find the Fred Astaire song solemn, yet optimistic.

the recession worries me because of my family. I work for the govt so I should be okay. It’s gonna be long and hard I fear

You have such an eye for beauty, your photos always amaze me.
I’m a bit worried about the recession, but I have it good compared to many others. I don’t need to worry for myself.

The recession is very abundant where I live. My husbands hours are down to part time. My son lost his job, my daughter can’t find one. We live where the car manufacturers and all their teir business were. Since the big three is down sizing other companies are folding. They say 12000 (thousand) people have left my city alone in the last two years. There are two to five houses per street empty. If I loose my job my family is doomed.
