For the Greek Football team that were eliminated from Euro 2008 after losing to Russia 1-0, this being their second match without scoring a goal. M’s mum called in to say someone has given the greek team the Evil Eye. I suppose they didn’t have their third eye covered. Or maybe they had covered the remaining two instead.

Don’t know about the evil eye but a team needs to attack to score goals, generally
It’s a shame. Like I said, Greece win on the kits, I love them. That and Turkey’s nice turquoise shorts.
And I’m reading a greek book, it’s my only greek book, by Maira Papathanasopoulou (the biggest name I’ve written!), and I decided to re-read, don’t know why.

So sorry about the Greek Football game.
We are watching St. Louis Cardinal Baseball and they are not doing very well either…Feel your pain.
