I’m a loser baby, so why don’t you kill me.

For  the Greek Football team that were eliminated from Euro 2008 after losing to Russia 1-0, this being their second match without scoring a goal.  M’s mum called in to say someone has given the greek team the Evil Eye. I suppose they didn’t have their third eye covered. Or maybe they had covered the remaining two instead.

“so why don’t you kill me?” something about that team needs to be killed and start again, I think.
Don’t know about the evil eye but a team needs to attack to score goals, generally ;)
It’s a shame. Like I said, Greece win on the kits, I love them. That and Turkey’s nice turquoise shorts. :)

And I’m reading a greek book, it’s my only greek book, by Maira Papathanasopoulou (the biggest name I’ve written!), and I decided to re-read, don’t know why.

Seems they should have been using their feet, instead of their eyes.

I’m going with ‘both eyes closed’.

But then again, England didn;t even make the Cup, so my first choice was right out the wondow.

My second choice is Spain. How are they doing?

I don’t watch football so I’m going to go ahead and imagine that they are already over and that Greece won the world cup.
