Darth came on a Sunday

Photos, Weekends

It’s the Carnival season and my son found this nice outfit on ebay

We went out to lunch with his best friend. I am really sick and tired of hearing jokes about willies and butts from both of them.

Thankfully, they kept painting throughout lunch (scenes from Star Wars)

At some point I was quite bored so I took a photo of M’s shoes.

This is a nice italian restaurant with handmade pasta.

I am proud to report I didn’t have one bite of this. My nutritionist shakes my hand every time I am good, so I expect a lot of handshaking this Tuesday.

    Wow, I never knew:
    * Darth Vader spoke Greek
    * M wears stylin shoes
    * You have extreme control to be able turn down flan.
    * Soon to be one armed, cause with self control like that your nutritionist is going to shake your arm off.

    MY GOD! I have a water jar just like the one the italian restaurant. Exactly like that! Well, I think mine broke because I haven’t seen it for a long time.

    ahahah kids and their crazy phases…that’s a nasty one.
    thanfully there are some beautiful things around you to distract you,

    Is that nutricionist the nasty one?

  3. Ash Says:

    I would have had a bite. Probably more than one.

    How sweet and special.
    I too don’t eat sweets……..
    Big hugs

    You have much more willpower than I do…what’s your secret to avoiding too much dessert? Or is it that if you had a bite, you would have then gone on to have the whole thing? That would have been the case with me, anyway. And I don’t know that I could have avoided that first bite, either, to be totally honest.

    it’s not self control, it’s fear. last time i checked my glucose levels were higher than normal for my age.

    devil
    hmmm strange about the jug, maybe you have the same supplier. No, that’s the nice one, I didn’t go back to the nasty one.

    ash
    i would have joined you if it wasn’t for high glucose levels.

    jeanne
    oh no, you too? i hope that’s because you don’t like them, not because you are not allowed. i love them but i am not allowed to. x

    if i am honest, i am going to say that if that was chocolate i’d have had one little bite. But it wasn’t so i was able to resist even that one bite. I had some medical tests and they were not that great so it’s not willpower, it’s fear :)

    That’s your hand in the second picture right? It looks like good drawings from what I can see. Perhaps they could write a comic about butts and willies. I can see they whisper in front of you. Are you not part of the ‘in’ crowd? You should tell them secrets don’t make friends, jk.

    Mmm, rice pudding and maple syrup? You are such a goodie for resisting temptation. You are going to look like Madonna when you’re eighty.

    Nice. M rocks the allstars.

  8. chloe Says:

    that’s not my hand Cress. It’s my son’s friend’s hand. I am not allowed to be that close. you guessed correctly, i am not part of the in crowd. The only thing i am good for is giving my credit card to shop star wars paraphernalia on ebay.

    LOL!!! We just had two nephews (ages 5 and 9) here this past weekend and “fart” was the word the entire two days! Fart, and finding as many terms as possible for feces! For TWO DAYS! So your timing on this post couldn’t have been better!

    It’s great that things around you are this way. I haven’t got any kids yet, but I imagine my man will be the one dressing like Darth Vader when we do. He’s obsessed with the snoring hero! Some time ago it hit me that our wedding should have a theme; so I tell him and he says “That’s a perfect idea! Our theme will be Star Wars and I am going to be dressed like Darth Vader!”
    I wonder what will our kids be like…
