These are some of the photos I took this weekend in Old Athens. I was glad to find a favourite cafe open again, the weather was good and it was nice to be outside. You can see more photos on my Flickr stream . I am going to post some more tomorrow along with good old food porn.

Is it obnoxious to think that you post photos like that just for ME? LOL. I want to live in a little flat right off that cobbleston street and go eat at that cafe you love every day for lunch! ah. i torture myself.

That was a gorgeous aimless walk, Chloe. I’d love to walk aimlessly in Athens again soon - I think I’d love it much more in the autumn/winter/spring than I did in the height of summer heat..

Day
I’m not bad, but then again I do take pictures when he is smiling!
Rositta
really? you didn’t go to Plaka? But it’s one of the few beautiful places in Athens, and where all travellers go first! How did this happen?
Gina
no, it’s not, it’s true.
All these little cobbled street apartments cost an arm and a leg. You are deceived by the cuteness, the price is not cute at all heheee. But you can stay nearby (my neighbourhood maybe?)
Pille
when you visit again, we’ll have more time and go to Plaka together.

Chloe, my sweetie didn’t want to take me there, weird guy… he said it’s too touristy. I can assure you though that this year when I come back I am going to insist on going there…ciao
