The future is here. It’s just not widely distributed yet.
- William Gibson
I travelled for an hour and then I waited half an hour for a business appointment that lasted 5 minutes and then I travelled back for an hour again. So my feet resemble the colour in the background of the photo and my mind resembles the vehicle.
Irrelevant piece of mental garbage: At some point, posting here became a big deal. I had to write things in Word, then revise them, think about them, fix the photo, apply all the filters, grrrr it was a real production and the producer got tired. I am downsizing. From now on I am going back to nonsense. Not that I ever went too far from it, but it’s over, the blog is not going to become something I will have to think about a lot. It’s going to be sillier. So that it reflects its owner.
Let’s talk about the weather then.
Is London really really cold right now people? Because I may be coming and I don’t want to leave my bones there.
P.S I saw a couple of interesting things and here are the links:
Coolest Workspace . Please make a mental note in your Christmas lists. I need it.
Starting Tuesday, plastic bags illegal at big S.F. grocery stores I like that, just make the alternative canvas bags not paper bags maybe?

I support you, girl..this doesn’t have to be such a big deal. I still worry about my posts but I can’t make the perfect one, so I forgot about perfection altogether.
I want one of those perfect workplaces too - I need it in fact because once the cold has come, the only time my feet are warm is when I exercise. It’s finally raining a lot over here. I don’t know about London, but I’m sure it’s cold.

I don’t mind your serious pieces, but I know what you mean about these things eating up time. You should just do whatever you’ve got time for. Consistency is boring :).

I try and make it a rule to never travel anyplace that I’ll be at for less than the travel time. When I have to break the rule it makes me crabby.

Hiya! Found your blog via persisting stars. I like it! Will be back to read more later, but just wanted to say I feel the same about complicated entries, it makes me write nothing at all when I could have written something, that would in fact have mirrored who I am and how I feel quite accurately.
About London, I live an hour south of that place and it’s not particularly cold (to be Britain). It’s constantly around 10 degrees Celcius (50 Fahrenheit) for the moment and will be for a while it seems. The sun comes out every couple of days and the breeze is mild. If you do come, probably what you’ll need is a rain-proof jacket and a warm scarf.

devil
i decided it’s more important to me to have a presence here, than this presence to be refined and pretty. sometimes it will be, but not always because there is no time and because i don’t always feel refined and pretty. So let’s do it Devil, let’s be crap.
Jack
it is! i had been searching for the perfect wordpress theme for ages and i even made a little chart with pros and cons and when i finished it i thought “you are a sick woman”.
JACC
yes! why do people ask to see you for 5 minutes when clearly something that only takes up 5 minutes can be discussed over the phone?
Caroline
welcome Caroline. Thanks for the London info. I am going to Richmond and i expect the river to be overflown again so i might need wellingtons too
Jeanne
thanks Jeanne. hope you are well and happy. x

lol absolutely, let’s be crap!
Personally, it is your presence that I like most about the blog, so this is a measure that makes me very happy. All those weeks without posts a few months ago are a sad memory ;(

It’s been very cold here, so even colder in London, but the rain has warmed things up a tad. Not going to last though; unfortunately. The cold is set to return.
Pass me a dose of silly if you have any to spare
