Pity, mercy, compassion, I’ll take it all

Work

A card I had made some time ago to wish me Happy Summer Holidays. Ha!

I am shattered. I know people should not take out a page to write "I am shattered", but maybe this rule was made for people who did not need to say "I am shattered" so much and who did not need someone to look at them with pity, mercy and/or compassion and tell them: "it’s okay, take a rest, go to bed".

Song of the day: Breathe me - Sia

It’s the weekend! Is there a weekend for entrepreneurs like you? ;)
I’m sleepy too, I was kept awake by mosquitoes last night. Hate them…grrr

Superman had his Fortress of Solitude. Where’s ours? That’s what I want to know. Get some sleep and unplug the comms, don’t punish yourself :).

Take a nap! It’ll all be okay. Hope all is well with you Missy. xx

Whoa - hold on. I’m confused. A few posts back, if I recall, we were discussing blatant honesty (or something like that). Isn’t “being shattered” part of that? Then why shouldn’t one state it, express it, share it, feel it and experience it (with others, preferably and hopefully) when it appears in our lives?

    Just wondering…

Rest well and know that you are loved, dear Chloe.

without shadows there’s no light. and you shine like the sun from within… and just like the sun, you can’t look at it directly (as in seeing that while looking in the mirror). but we, we can see it clearly, as we’re a few steps away, never forget that, woman!!!

only a total fool would think everyone feels super-hunky-dory at all times. maybe brain damaged people always feel the same euphoria. I think trying to feel that way would be beyond exhausting and would land ya in one of those “spas” where you get paperslippers and a lovely fashionable white jacket that closes on the back with a nice room to bounce off the walls from. and no, you don’t want that.

what you might want to try though is taking a pillow to the couch, placing your head on said pillow and the rest of your body on the couch, then putting your feet up a little while maybe having some nice music in the background, maybe a book, but maybe you just want to close your eyes a little. inhale. exhale. repeat. maybe M could hold your hand for a little while, but that’s optional. are you nice and comfy now? see, it’s all good.

    :)

Oh, as a PS to my e-mail - I really like the song/video. The polaroid photo thing is really perfect for the song.

I hope it’s nothing serious and that you have had a good rest and you are feeling better now! When I feel low I make sweets or bake pies and I feel better afterwards, you could give it a try :)

    xx

Thank you all. You are so nice. No, it was not serious, i was just very very very tired. Also, i was sick and tired of people who make a mess and i have to clean that mess. But i had a nice weekend (even a funny one) and i am fine now.
