Lentil and summer greens salad
Aubergine Sambusaks Yesterday I had a professional picnic. That’s the kind of picnic where you pack the food and take it to the woods and the photographer is there with the camera and he shoots the food and then we eat it. I took a couple of photos with my own little camera, for my own little blog.

I saw this movie Half Nelson. Have you seen it? It’s a stunning film and Ryan Gosling is unbelievably good. When he acts, you have to pinch yourself. I wanted to go over there and clean his house. If you have seen the film you’ll know why. I have developed an obsession with Woman’s Hour podcasts. I listen to them before I fall asleep, or rather, in order to fall asleep, right after Scott Mills podcasts because I like his teenage sense of humour. Sometimes, I laugh so hard in bed that I wake M up. I worry now because when these podcasts are over, what will happen to the pattern ‘listen to podcasts-sleep’? Will I never sleep again? Will I find other podcasts? What if my ipod breaks down? Do other people who depend on their ipod to go to sleep exist? Can we form a group? My mum has given my dad a pair of white leather loafers to wear. She claims they are really really comfortable. I claim they are Julio Inglesias chic. We have 30 °C at the moment. That’s 86 °F. You could have me with potatoes and a green salad.

I like how you put that, very nice. Where I’m at there’s a banal way of saying the above. “Stick a fork in me, I’m done.”

I just love the BIG pictures
I’m wearing a cardigan, hehe.
I remember you doing a professional picnic last year - I saw the post at work and was hungry for the rest of the month, thank you very much!
When I listen to music before I go to bed, I usually start thinking too much and it doesn’t exactly help me fall asleep - but maybe people talking would.
I should really get into podcasts.
Over here, it’s much fresher - 20º C
What is Julio Iglesias’ chic exactly?

Papa
stick a fork in me I’m done is a great way of putting it. What you consider nice is simply lack of english.
Devil Mood
people talking sends you to sleep almost every time. Music doesn’t.
Julio chic is a white suit and white loafers and tanned skin. My dad only has the loafers.

Your photos are unbelievable on this new site; I am incredibly jealous! And I want to eat this food: just looking at the photos is making me gain weight.
I haven’t seen this movie, but am going to check it out. The white loafers :)hehehhhheeee…I would split my side laughing if I saw my father wearing white loafers.
He would never hear the end of it!
And we had abnormally warm weather last week (up to 28 C!) and now we will have frost and snow in the northern parts of the province tomorrow night; the poor trees and flowers; they start to come out and then shrivle back in retreat; it’s climate change. Turn your lights off, everybody…
P.S. Is there a way I can spellcheck my comments?

i *could* have you with potatoes and a green salad, but wouldn’t M object to that?

Ooooooh, pretty website!
It’s been drizzly here for a few weeks now. I’m really bored of having to wear wellies to work.

That lentil salad sure looks good.
The hot weather sure makes you creative.
This past Monday I made a grilled chicken salad using mesclun, roasted corn and I added blood oranges, Mexican crumbly cheese and light cream instead of dressing.
Very delicious and refreshing….

I question white shoes–except for sneakers.
I agree–Ryan Gosling is an incredible actor. I’ve liked all his movies. I haven’t seen “The Notebook”.

not just the music before we go to bed. real scary is standing under the shower in the morning and suddenly having an urge to sing and/or whistle a catchy tune that came out of nowhere.
love your pics, as usual. make me hungry, as usual. even though I just ate… is that fair?
