A quick note to let you know I am okay but: -Running around to enroll my son to English classes, swimming classes, and erm, school. -Going to that concert hall at nights for work and generally getting bored there and reading my book. -Trying to renew my passport so I can go to London next week for a couple of days. I am going to be seeing people about this new business I am setting up with an old –and good- friend. It is going to be an interesting trip but also excruciating for my lazy and leisurely nature. -Getting ready for another old friend’s wedding this Saturday. -Preparing the recipes for the magazine’s next issue. -Translating the silly book. -Uploading all my Typepad blogs (Bread and Butter and One Click a Day) to Blogger Beta. That was hard work. They are linked above where the old sites used to be. I think they look pretty similar to the Typepad ones. Opinions? Because at some point I started thinking I would soon become rich if I saved those 8 dollars per month that subscription was costing me. All the possibilities unfolded before my very eyes. Tonight I am going to visit all your blogs although I take sneak peeks via Bloglines every day. Missed you.

I think all of the blogs look lovely. Good luck with your trip!
I’ll e-mail you to explain the comment issue (or lack of ability to comment issue) when I have a moment, but it happens at the point when they merge your beta blogger account (logged into with your gmail account) with your old blogger account.

Thank you for the update, but sorry to hear you’re a bit rushed. Please remember to take time out for tea, and chocolate. Actually skip the tea and go straight for the chocolate.

But you still found time to tell us what was going on…
Sweet chloe!
Life has this nasty habit of intruding, taking us away from what we would rather do to make us do what we must.
September 6th, 2006 at 11:16 am
We miss you too!!

It is hard I understand when you want so much to keep in touch, but life keeps getting in the way. How dare it!

busy…busy…busy - you need a vacation. Oh right, you just had one.

I’m really outdated, I think, but what’s the thing about blogger beta? Is it very different from blogger? (Perhaps it doesn’t shut down all the time..?)
Feel free to lurk, anytime
September 6th, 2006 at 4:33 pm
And we missed you!
I was wondering what you were up to and now I see you’re extremely busy. How can you do all that? I limit my days to 2 or 3 activities and yet I haven’t time for anything else..
September 6th, 2006 at 5:27 pm
Busy lady! If you think you might happen to have some time to spare in London and fancy a coffee or something then email me and I’d be happy to say “hello”.
It sounds, however, that your week is going to be very very busy.

I want to say the same thing Stephanie wrote.. can I copy-paste or is that outright plagiarism?
safe travels xx

I have been scarce these past few days as well, and , you know,…my list is very similar to yours. Although I am not preparing for a trip to London (lucky girl!!).
I will be going to an old friend’s wedding this Saturday as well.

Gosh! Your itinerary seems more than full! Take care!
September 7th, 2006 at 9:55 am
Enjoy our fair capital when you arrive. Check out the London Eye if you get a chance.
It’s just outside the Embankment stop on the underground.

September 7th, 2006 at 11:20 am
Good luck with all your projects…especially the new business. I’ve focused on that one as I’m starting a new business, too at the moment…maybe we can do some international cooperative projects in the future?
September 7th, 2006 at 3:10 pm
You’re going to start a new business? Busy!
Here’s to it one day joining the Fourtune 500 or being bought by Google for millions of euros!
September 7th, 2006 at 3:20 pm
I am exhausted just reading your list!!
Be well - travel safely and swiftly.
And da … “friendship” is the one thing that we must never surrender to the demands of our hasty lives.
September 7th, 2006 at 9:01 pm
I really have nothing to say… just wanted to drop by and say hi!
I’ve been busy too and just trying to catch up on blogs now.
Say a huge *hello* to London for me ;o)
Good luck with the passport and hte wedding and the preparing and the translating and the uploading! x
