There were goodies in my mailbox this morning. This is from Kimananda, my friend from Denmark. She sent edible presents too (dark chocolate made of cocoa beans from Papua New Guinea and marzipan sweets). Needless to say, I got the picture as soon as I could, because now there’s just the cd (it’s Danish and Portuguese music mostly) and the card. I haven’t listened to the cd yet (I can’t concentrate on the chocolate if I am listening, can I?), but I plan to be doing this all day today. Thank you, it was wonderful to eat so much chocolate, so early in the morning.
And this came from Minneapolis, from lovely Michele. She sent me a card and two beautiful cds: One is a fun mix and the other one is a compilation of Ani di Franco, whom I like very much too. Michele, thank you, I am listening to the Ani di Franco cd now as I write. I think she writes wonderful lyrics.
This one was sent by Zona Boy. It’s a meditation cd and I listened to it very early in the morning and it is very soothing. The card came separately, I think the postman must have had a nice time staring at it. It’s so funny, it’s on my fridge now. Thank you Zen Master.
Once again thank you all. I am going to send you care packages as soon as my computer is back, because that’s where all my music is. A big smile for you (well, two).

Oh, good, I’m glad you got it (and all the other beautiful looking packages, too!) The chocolate is (or rather, was) my favorite Danish brand, Anton Berg. I’ve had a long-standing affair with Anton (he’s referred to by first name only in our house) ever since Thor got me a selection of his goodies for my birthday 2 and a half years ago, when I was still just getting to know about Denmark. Anton is very suave and very, very sexy, and the best part is that anyone can have a deep relationship with him, without our partners getting jealous!

It’s funny that you usually get your packages all together - it’s a little annoying really, one at the time would be better to enjoy them even more. Cute packages and CDs. Kimananda sent you portuguese music? I’m curious about that. Altough…-nanda has a very portuguese sounding, it’s the diminutive for Fernanda. Is it?
Cute smiles!!

Anton is a favourite man in this house now too. I love dark chocolate, it’s my favourite. I can’t really see the point of milk chocolate, unless you are a kid. And that one was fragrant too. I could go on for hours!
Cathy
I’ve enjoyed my presents. Beautiful music, nice chocolates, funny cards.

I don’t think Kimananda is Portuguese. But she has lived in Portugal. Maybe you 2 should talk.
