Bad weather is coming again. It was in the news all day today. They are trying to scare us into believing Bad Weather is some evil monster coming in the city to snatch innocent children from their warm beds.
There was a thunderstorm tonight. It was lovely. Light and sound.
I’m going to bed with books and magazines and the mp3 player, hoping they are going to make the night pass faster. I can’t wait for tomorrow to arrive. Sleep is boring. I want the new day now, now, now (stamping feet).
The computer saviour is coming tomorrow to tell me why the PC is shutting down randomly. It has been doing it for the last couple of weeks. It’s scary and I feel betrayed. Do you hear me little man in the computer? You betrayed me.
And this song has been playing in my head all day. Sadly, I couldn’t find it anywhere so as to embed it here.
“Just like a bird
That sings up the sun
In a dawn so very dark
Such is my faith for you
Such is my faith
A single spark
Can’t swallow up
Such is my love for you
Such is my love
There is a kingdom
There is a king
And he lives without
And he lives within
The moral law within
This day so sweet
It will never come again
So the world appears
Through this mist of tears
There is a kingdom
There is a king
And he lives without
And he lives within
And he is everything”
There Is a Kingdom - Nick Cave

Chloe, my latest compillation
cd has that song on it - right
at the start. I love it!
There has been a terrible storm
in Vancouver - lots of flooding.
Terrible fierce stormy winds
and angry lightening. It frightened me and I couldn’t sleep.
I felt grateful and overjoyed when
I woke up today and saw the sun!

I am not certain I know the song; I will have to check and see.
Knocking on Chloe’s monitor…little man, go elsewehere and haunt someone deserving of your antics; Chloe is far too important for you to be shutting her down. Do you hear me? Klicnk klicnk klicnk…

…have you heard Nick Cave’s
version of “I put a spell on you”?
-It’s VERY “frothy”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yikes, bad weather is something I can’t stand. I prefer the sun and warm weather to cold.
You most likely have a virus or spyware/adware on your computer
And i see you decided to use the mp3 player again
cheers

Hope the bad weather isn’t too bad. Take care, stay warm, Meow

Bad weather can be scary - lightning once struck the next-but-one field to us and set it alight, as well as blowing my tuner!
For your PC, I think that little man needs some TLC. Windows? If so, this may be of some help - I’ve not had it installed for long, but it claims to stop crashes, and it’s stopped mine auto-restarting when I power down.

No, bad weather isn’t an evil monster. It gives beautiful views from our windows, and contrast to snuggle under a wam blanket with. Of course, I can afford to say that as I don’t have to go out today. The snow here at least is beautiful…what about there?
February 6th, 2006 at 8:32 am
well it doesn’t snow in Athens yet. The news said it might start snowing tonight or tomorrow morning. But it does snow in many other places in Greece.
I love snow. It looks so pure plus, it goes with my white bookcases.

curios and curiouser -
I used to be a goth too -
black hair, all black, still
struggle not to wear black
but I would always throw in a
weird “girlie” touch like
black and pale pink ribbon in
my hair or jewelled flower
rings in teeny crystal.
