I had the most amazing dream. I know I always post photos of the sky, but last night I actually saw the sky in my dream. And it was like the drawing in the picture. I was looking at the sky from my balcony and it was afternoon and there was light. But the sky had stars, actually imprints of stars, not actual stars, it had disco ball planets, spaceships going by, and although it was baby blue you could see galaxies clearly and it looked so close I thought I could reach out and touch it. A glorious, amazing, Lucy in the sky with diamonds kind of dream.
My list of duties for today
1. Go to the publishing house and have a fabulous time (remember to get drunk first).
2. Meet Blondie for coffee, gossip and a little celebration (Blondie is soon becoming Dr. Blondie)
3. Buy presents for M’s birthday, and a card. Find/compose/copy-paste poem on card.
4. Organize M’s birthday celebrations.
5. Turn off my mobile because people from the magazine are going to be pestering me today about the soya article.
6. Watch The Quiet American. (Last night I went to the DVD rental place. I so wanted to find a ridiculous movie and watch it tonight. But then I got cold feet, felt really embarrassed about borrowing movies such as Along Came Polly and Meet the Fockers and just left with The Quiet American.)
7. Check friendly blogs and see who’s been good and who’s been bad.
8. Remember to deny everything to anybody who asks.
The Billy Corgan Daily Quote
"There is no destiny, only right fucking now."

Did you see tangerine trees and marmalade skies
October 6th, 2005 at 7:08 am
I think I might start the Sharon Osborne daily quote:
“A baldy twat in a dress” (Sharon Osborne describes Billy Corgan)

Wriju
no, but i hope to see those tonight
Fly
Don’t get me started on Sharon Osborne. She is punished enough with her husband and her children. I’ll only make it worse.

Sometimes our dreams just make our days more colourful.
God, you really have a lot of stuff to do today! :/
October 6th, 2005 at 8:49 am

October 6th, 2005 at 9:27 am
Lying is bad. Your naughty. As is ignoring calls. Very naughty.
You should sleep more as your dreams will be less wierd
October 6th, 2005 at 9:42 am
look who’s talking! you’re unbelievable Steve, especially now that you started your new blog full of lies (by your own admission)
October 6th, 2005 at 11:13 am
Mine is fictitious. Yours a blatant lie in a she devil type manner
October 6th, 2005 at 11:56 am

YIKES - the Osbornes - my son was nearly named Ozzie because my gf’s idiot teenage sister (the boy’s mother) idolized him!
October 6th, 2005 at 4:03 pm
the Osbornes are my anti-ideal. i look at them and know what i don’t want to be.
Ozzie? for a baby? My God!
October 6th, 2005 at 4:10 pm
Ahh…Late to the party again.
Sounds like you had a sublime night in dreamland. I dreamt a miniature alligator in my backyard ate a giant frog on one gulp, while standing next to a tiny racoon.
I really need a shrink.
October 6th, 2005 at 4:29 pm
party’s still on
i like your dream, very childlike
October 6th, 2005 at 4:40 pm
I picked up the alligator and threw him back in the pond down the road with his brother.
Does my bravery know no bounds?
October 6th, 2005 at 4:47 pm
maybe we can exchange subconsciouses (?) tonight
October 6th, 2005 at 5:01 pm
One of my dillemas:
Dreams are like “Lucy In The Sky with Diamonds” or “Julie’s Been Working for The Drug Squad”.
Nice rendering Chloe!
Happy birthday M.!!!!

October 6th, 2005 at 6:10 pm
hi Cathy, nice photo
October 6th, 2005 at 7:13 pm
Your dream sounds like one of Michel Gondry’s excellent music videos. I think he gets most of his ideas from his own dreams.
October 6th, 2005 at 7:16 pm
Chloe in London…:o
There’s only so much ‘Taxi Driver’, ‘The American Friend’ and so on you can take.
I watched ‘Old School’ last week.
I think we have to occassionally even out seriousness with movies that are comedies and thought less of as art but the art is making us laugh so rent the silly film every now and then!
October 7th, 2005 at 1:57 am
Stephanie
that’s an indirect compliment, so thanx!
Fb
Yes I know! you are right, but somehow, i can’t get myself to do it at least not in that dvd rental place where they know me as a serious film lover. Pathetic really. but i can always go there in disguise.
