A shell my sister found and the sky today

It is so good sitting here in the veranda and working in the night breeze. Somehow, working on a Sunday night doesn’t seem that awful now that I have my earphones on and listen to my favourite songs while researching a boring article on e-learning I have to write.  Do you ever feel that you are so alive, every vein of your body is going to burst wide open. That’s how it is and I have only had sparkling water. Once, I had a friend and her mother was married to this very quiet man. But one day I went round and she had clearly been crying. And of course I didn’t ask her why, but she knew me since I was a kid so she said: “You can easily be sleeping with the same person for 20 years, and one day, out of the blue, you wake up next to a complete stranger”. He hadn’t committed a crime, he had just said something completely out of character. Sometimes this is a source of stress and even despair. But now, I think it is a bit comforting and free.

My playlist tonight

-Ava Adore –Smashing Pumpkins

-Lithium- Nirvana

-Where I end and you begin-Radiohead

-Heart of Gold – Puressence

-I just don’t know what to do with myself –White Stripes (that’s a direct consequence of having a heart of gold)

-Hey, that’s no way to say goodbye –Leonard Cohen

-Look what you’ve done –Jet

-Get it on- T-Rex

-Moon River –Morrissey

    dear chloe/S,

This is soppy, yes, but not in a bad way. Nice photos. Eclectic choice of music.

Replaced the Bush witches with a temporary image. Wish I was in New Orleans now. I am very curious to see a hurricane up close. Preferably from somewhere safe and well stocked…Hmm.

Do you live on the sea? Lovely. I live near the Thames - ick.
